 go for the tomac. i own one and its great , more travel, handmade in the u.s. , and demonman is right it is not a single pivot design

 i think the bike was sick of you riding it. i mean....who puts purple tassels on a freeride bike or any adult bike for that matter. let alone a guy.

 listen i have ridden all the marzocchi forks (accept shiver dcs and supermonsters) and monster ts are by far the heaviest but the strongest and most reliable so dont judge em till you ride em = )
